Some suppliers choose the secondary polypropylene material, which is cheaper than the virgin material, so that achieves the goal of saving cost, then the toilet seat price is very low, suitable for the market that prefers economical toilet seat solutions. 3. Different hinges and functions
Except for the factor of the main material of toilet seats, the hinges and their function take the most important role.
– Material of hinges
Plastic hinge, stainless steel hinge, zinc alloy hinge, ABS hinge, etc. There are many different hinge materials, which means different costs.
– Function of hinges
Push button quick-release hinge, soft close hinge, take-off hinge, normal close hinge, etc. Various hinge options could be selected, some of them can be changed to another one, and some couldn’t be changed due to the limited installation hole distance.

5. Different packages of toilet seats
There are several common packing methods for toilet sets.
– Each seat pack into an inner box, with or without cushion protectors. In this way, the inner box can be brown or white, or customize color box, then the price will be different.
– Mailbox, specially designed for E-commerce customers, which can pass the drop test whether the single inner box or the outer carton, so Amazon sellers can deliver the goods to end-customers directly without extra packing. The cost for the mailbox is higher than the normal package.
– Pack with pallets or not. If the toilet seats pack with pallets, it will reduce space utilization for containers when loading, then the loading capacity will be shorter than no pallets.
Not only the box itself cost is different, but the different box size, it leads to different loading capacities in the container. For example, if the total ocean freight cost is 2000USD for 1*20GP, loading 2500pcs or 1500pcs, apportion to each toilet seat, the cost is 2000/2500=0.8USD/pc, 2000/1500=1.3USD/pc. So the cost for loading 1500pcs is higher 0.5USD/pc than loading 2500pcs.

6. Different shipping way and payment terms
Except for the above factors of the toilet seat product itself, the shipping way and payment terms will affect the toilet seat price.
Generally speaking, EXW price is the lowest price, then ship to your address, the shipping cost will be higher by air than by sea. The highest price is door-to-door delivery, you don’t need to pay any more cost.
